Today I would like to focus our prayers on, as a friend said it, "the leaders, speakers, and all those arranging, organizing, and putting [GYC] together." With a 25%+ increase in attendees this year there will potentially be a lot more complications on top of the regular stress of organizing a convention. And as the nature of this conference is to hasten the coming of Christ there is added interference from the enemy's camp. But we have nothing to fear. Instead let us move forward with songs of victory, "because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4)
Prayer focus: The leaders, speakers, and all those arranging, organizing the conference.
Promises to claim: Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded. 2Chronicles 15:7
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: He is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. Proverbs 2:6, 7
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
Not by human might or human wisdom was the gospel to be proclaimed, but by the power of God. Acts of the Apostles pg. 17
"Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth." (Jeremiah 1:9)
ReplyDeleteI'm praying that the speakers will have this experience, that they will not withhold even one ounce of truth, but will speak the Word of God with power.
"...Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts." Zechariah 4:6
